Tandem-Leonardo project aims to live up to our motto "A TEAM TO WIN". The main goal of the project is to contribute to building up new competencies for physicians, nurses and auxiliary personnel, soften the division between professional groups, and develope teamwork between core care, auxiliary care providers and the patient/patients' families. This project of co-operation among all the forces operating in the diabetes planet is a social conquest, a great improvement on the past. Helping young diabetics to "grow up" is not enough. We must teach them to have great confidence in life.
